Internet Society organization criticized the USA Government. According to Internet Society systematic attempts of the USA to outflank Internet’s security mechanisms are a threat to the Global Net’s potential.
“In the reports on the USA’s actions there is information on governmental programs which undermine Internet’s technical principles as well as are a serious threat to the economical, innovative and social Internet’s potential”, - says Lynn St. Amour, Internet Society President. Internet Society also expresses concern that Internet’s functioning basic principles: trust, sociability and communication - are under threat.
The organization called all Internet users for openly expressing their right for information confidentiality, legitimacy and proper processes while data processing. Moreover, Internet Society recommends for the developers to use open standards, responsibly treat Internet security standards and technologies implementing as well as keep an eye on Infrastructure safety.
