Directi, a company that relaunched .pw, has announced it will sell third-level domains in .in.net subdomain.
Usually, subdomains are effective when a second-level domain has restricted registration rules or has a few of "desirable" domain names left. This, however, is a pseudo-TLD aimed at the Indian market and mimicking .in, India's ccTLD. The prices are expected to be below $10.
The subdomain will launch on June 17, with 42 days for trademark owners and those who wish a premium name to secure their domains. The third-level domains in .in.net are to become available to the public on August 1.
