Three registrars have received ICANN breach notices

Three registrars have received ICANN breach notices ICANN has sent notices to three registrars for not paying their registrar fees. The companies in question are Dotted Ventures, Basic Fusion and A. Telecom S.A.

All registrars in question are relatively small, with no more than 1,000 domain names under management. According to the ICANN notices, the companies owe about 25,000 USD of unpaid registrar fees. Two companies, Basic Fusion and A. Telecom S.A, have also changed their address without sending notice to ICANN.

A. Telecom S.A, which, according to ICANN, owes the corporation 10,863.67 USD in fees, is also a new gTLD applicant. The company is a part of the Brazilian division of Telefonica, a telecom operator. A. Telecom S.A has applied for .vivo, while Telefonica SA is an applicant for .movistar, .telefonica and .terra. There are no other applicants for these domains.

The companies have to fix the breaches until May 14 or risk losing their accreditation licenses.
