Go Daddy has dropped its .home and .casa applications, therefore getting out of new gTLD market as a registry.
The company's market strategy will probably stay the same as the leading registrar had helped some of the newer registries to succeed before. For example, the success of Colombia's .co is linked to its strong relations with Go Daddy. Dropped applications are probably a symbol of Go Daddy's plans to stay registry-neutral at the emerging gTLD market, which can bring revenue to many new gTLD registries.
Go Daddy is still applying for .godaddy, but this is a mere "dot-brand" application, unlike .home and .casa that were dropped.
