The selection process for the new Youth Council of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ has been completed.
The Youth Council brings together young professionals and students interested in the development of the Runet, internet governance, digital technologies, and educational activities. Throughout the year, Council members participate in the Coordination Center’s projects, assist in organizing events, propose their own initiatives, and represent the youth community at relevant events and venues.
This year, the Coordination Center received a large number of applications from young people across various regions of Russia. In forming the new Council, the center took into account the candidates’ motivation, their professional and academic interests, their experience in relevant projects, and the opportunity to build a team with diverse backgrounds and expertise.
“I would like to thank everyone who expressed interest in the Youth Council, submitted an application, and shared their ideas and experience with us. I would also like to point out that if you have not joined the new Council, this doesn’t mean we are parting ways. We will be pleased to see you at the Coordination Center’s events, educational programs, and other youth projects, and we hope we will have another opportunity to work together,” Chairman of the Coordination Center’s Youth Council Andrey Aleinikov said.
Coordination Center Director Andrey Vorobyev wished the new Council an exciting year filled with new projects and opportunities for professional development.
“I am confident that the participants’ ideas and energy will help make the Youth Council’s work even more tangible and visible,” he added.
