The event will take place at the Panarams Tashkent Hotel, bringing together leading experts, regulators, and IT industry representatives. Participants will discuss current challenges, technological innovations, and future prospects for the domain industry.
The conference is organized by the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ and the Russian Research Institute for the Development of Public Networks (RosNIIROS). The Technical Center of Internet serves as the general partner, with MSK-IX and Runity Group as partners. UZINFOCOM serves as the host organization.
Since 2008, TLDCON has established itself as a prominent international platform for developing coordinated approaches to national domain management and for sharing best practices.
Key program areas include:
- Artificial intelligence and cybersecurity: leveraging AI to protect domain ecosystems, forecast threats, and develop new strategies to prevent coordinated attacks and DNS abuse;
- Technological efficiency: optimizing DNS resolver performance and implementing Universal Acceptance principles in line with international standards;
- Regulation and marketing: special regulatory regimes for domain services, including domains for government and municipal authorities as well as brand domains, along with innovative strategies for domain promotion and development;
- Human capital development: a dedicated youth section aimed at involving young professionals in internet governance, fostering international digital cooperation, and supporting mentoring programs.
