On July 14, 2025, a ceremonial meeting was held at Russia’s Civic Chamber to mark the 25th anniversary of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ. The event was attended by representatives of government agencies, public organizations, the Center’s founding institutions, Runet veterans, and Coordination Center staff.
Russian Minister of Digital Development, Communications, and Mass Media of the Russian Federation Maksut Shadayev sent a congratulatory message on the anniversary. The minister extended heartfelt congratulations to the Coordination Center team, registrars, and industry stakeholders on this milestone. The message highlighted that the Coordination Center has successfully established a national domain management system that operates with consistent stability and reliability.
“It is also essential to acknowledge the established partnership between the state and the industry. The agreements we have signed formed the foundation for the current governance model, which has essentially proven its effectiveness, allowing the system to adapt and remain resilient amid new technological challenges for many years. Simultaneously, the expansion of digital platforms, advances in artificial intelligence, and the proliferation of online services necessitate a robust infrastructure. In this regard, it is vital that entities such as the Coordination Center continue to ensure the stable functioning of the domain system, its security, and user trust,” Maksut Shadayev emphasized.
In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ, six Coordination Center staff members received Letters of Commendation from the Minister of Digital Development, Communications, and Mass Media of the Russian Federation in recognition of their contributions to the advancement of communications and information technology, as well as their years of dedicated service. The awards were presented by Deputy Minister Alexander Shoitov.
The Letters of Commendation were awarded to:

- Lyubov Vidanova – Head of the Support Group, Registrar and User Relations Department
- Irina Danelia – Deputy Director
- Natalya Kiselyova – Deputy Head of Legal
- Alexey Murzov – System Administrator
- Natalya Nikolayeva – Assistant Director
“For a quarter of a century, the .RU and .РФ domains have accompanied the life of our country, becoming an integral part of its fabric. Today, well-earned awards have been presented to experts who are making a significant impact on the development of these domains.
