On May 22, The Logos IT College at the St. Paphnutius Monastery in Borovsk hosted an event titled Intellectual Property in the Digital Environment organized by the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ.
The event brought together around 90 students specializing in software engineering, cybersecurity, and network administration. Together with industry experts, the participants explored legal aspects of intellectual property protection, specifics of safeguarding trademarks online, and the complexities of domain regulation.
In his welcoming remarks, Andrey Vorobyev, Director of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ, spoke about the Center’s activities and emphasized the importance of improving young people’s legal literacy in the context of a rapidly evolving digital economy.

That is why it is especially important for future IT professionals to understand how online rights protection mechanisms work and what risks exist in the digital space,” Andrey Vorobyev emphasized.
