The updated versions of the Rules for Registration of Domain Names in the .RU and .РФ Domains, the Regulation On Procedures to be Applied in the Event of Domain Name Disputes, the Accreditation Regulations, the Requirements for an Accredited Organization (Registrar), and the Accreditation Agreement entered into force on May 25, 2026.
The new versions of regulatory documents were approved by the General Meeting of Founders of the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ on April 21, 2026.
The newly approved versions were developed on the basis of the Terms of Reference prepared by a working group established by the Coordination Center. The group operated from July to December 2025 and included representatives of the Technical Center of the Internet as well as accredited registrars. The updated Domain Name Registration Rules for the .RU and .РФ domains, along with the accompanying regulatory documents, are now available on the Coordination Center’s website.
