Council members, other interested students, young scientists and experts are invited to take part in the projects.

The first event, offered by the School of International IT Security, will take place in a hybrid format at 2 pm on June 17 at the Institute of Topical International Problems at the Foreign Ministry’s Diplomatic Academy. The Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ (CC), Huawei Russia and MegaFon are project partners with the School.

The following lectures will be presented: “5G, the fifth generation in mobile networks” and “Approaches to IT and Network Protection Standards.” These will be presented by speakers Konstantin Kozlovsky, Huawei Russia wireless technology expert and Yelena Kiryushina, Director of MegaFon’s trans-Arctic subsea communications link project.

Following the lectures, the participants will be given a chance to write an essay on the role of the IT sector in ensuring international IT security. The writers of the best essays will be invited to take part in the Open Lab Huawei workshop.

Anyone interested needs to register for the event with a Google-form. Those who cannot attend personally can watch the lectures online. For detailed information on the school, go to the project’s social media accounts on: Facebook, Instagram, VK, and Telegram.

On July 23-24, the CC Youth Council and the school will hold a forum on internet governance, the first forums and regulation models. The program will include lectures, an interactive session, internet-related mini-games and a case study, “Ideal model of internet governance.” After the forum, the organizers plan to publish parts of the lectures and the most interesting interview clips on CC and other sites. They will publish more details and the forum program soon.

The School of International IT Security is a project of the Diplomatic Academy by the Council of Young Scholars. Project partners include the National Association of International IT Security and the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation.
