GoDaddy extends employees’ WFH

The world’s largest domain name registrar GoDaddy has quickly responded to the alarming news about the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, now picking up momentum, and has ordered its employees to work from home until late March 2021. The corporate WFH mode was introduced this past spring.

According to the Domain Investing online resource, GoDaddy employs over 9,000 people. Naturally, the WFH regime will not apply to those unable to work outside offices, such as technical personnel of corporate data centers. However, the company has introduced strict safety and security protocols for protecting them. Nor does the WFH option cover those few countries with a safe epidemiological situation where everyone is allowed to work in offices.

Interestingly, China is one of these countries. The staff of the local GoDaddy office have already started working just like before the pandemic.
