$276,000 for Kick.com and $200,000 for Believe.com

This week information was published on two domain deals that may become the most expensive purchases of the year. Believe Digital (France) acquired Believe.com for $200,000. The deal should be considered very successful for the buyer: the domain name is not only easy to remember, but also matches the brand perfectly, and $200,000 look like an adequate amount for such an acquisition.

The cost for Kick.com was even higher. According to Domain Investing, it was sold for $276,077.45. There is no information available on the buyer in the deal yet. What is known is that Kick.com was auctioned during the Namescon 2020 conference of domain investors in January. Back then, $210,000 was offered for the domain, but it was lower than the owner expected, and the deal didn’t go through. Once these two deals are officially confirmed, they will get into the top 10 largest deals of the year to date: Kick.com will be the fourth and Believe.com will share places 7-10 with Shop.app, Profitable.com, and AOA.com: each one was also sold for $200,000.
