Domain Tools to publish list of coronavirus-related malicious domains

The analytical service Domain Tools has announced the launch of a new service. Its specialists have created and will regularly update a list of potentially malicious domain names related to COVID-19 and the pandemic. To determine the degree of threat, Domain Tools analysts use their own algorithms, which, in particular, take into account the connection of the domain and its registrants with other malicious resources. The list will include names that score at least 70 points out of 100 on the risk scale.

The new service is supposed to help fight against those spreading rumors and fake news about the pandemic, as well as against scammers who are taking advantage of the crisis to sell fake medicines, vaccines, remedies, etc. According to Domain Incite, the list has three columns: the first one indicates the domain name, the second one gives the registration date and the third one shows the domain risk assessment score determined by the Domain Tools algorithms. In order to access the list, updated daily, which can be downloaded for free, just enter your email address on the service website. Currently, the list already has more than 68,000 domain names.
